Interdependent Symbols in One Bracelet

Dear Spiritual Explorer: Now that Xmas is over, I hope you have a beautiful bracelet for my girlfriend. Ronald P., San Diego, CA

Dear Ronald: The lovely and graceful Blessing Symbol Bracelet in sterling silver will be a great blessing for your girlfriend. It is a very unique bracelet and we are happy to carry it.

Blessing Symbols Bracelet

The Blessing Symbol Bracelet has four blessing symbols: heart, peace, Om and yin yang. What’s interesting to me is that each symbol of this bracelet evokes a different emotion, feeling or cognition. For example, one does not usually give a necklace or bracelet with a heart symbol unless it was given from the heart and had a special emotional meaning.

The peace symbol takes us into a whole different arena and demonstrates your own desire for peace and non-violence. I would imagine that you probably would not give a “peace” bracelet to someone about to deploy.

The Om symbol depicted in this bracelet is a well-known symbol of inner peace and when one chants the Om mantra, your mind becomes silent and you are directed to an inner space of peace and quiet. The great thing about Om is that you can be assured that Om is being chanted somewhere in this world and you only have to tune in and turn on, as they used to say in the 60’s. Of course, the words “turn on” had multiple meanings and we are certainly not suggesting the one that has to do with ingesting drugs.

Finally, the yin yang symbol is used to describe how seemingly opposite or contrary forces are interconnected and interdependent in the natural world. Many natural dualities such as light and dark, high and low, hot and cold, fire and water are thought of as physical manifestations of the yin-yang concept.

Finally, I think this bracelet is a perfect manifestation of interdependence in that each symbol resonates and flows into the other, making it a harmonious choice.
