“Unveiled” features beautiful, evocative Hindu devotional chants, sung by Diana Rogers. She is accompanied by dotar, guitar, banjo, piano, keyboards, bansuri flute, sarangi, violin, harmonium, and percussion from India and around the world. Featuring renowned world music artists Geoffrey Gordon, Jai Uttal, Kit Walker, Steve Gordon and others. Diana Rogers has been singing all her life, and has been leading chanting for over 20 years. She has performed and recorded with such artists as Jai Uttal and Krishna Das, and has also led chanting at retreats and lectures throughout the US with Ram Dass. Her interest in vocal music has been multifaceted and includes Gregorian chant, early renaissance music, opera, folk, and Indian devotional chanting. After hearing Indian music in the US, Diana was drawn to India to pursue music and to spend time in Neem Karoli Baba’s ashrams.
